I really like taking pictures of things but cats are probably my favorite subject! The fact that they aren't stationary and don't understand the concept of posing for the camera is both really fun and really frustrating at the same time, haha. I think I like the challenge of trying to capture them. It's kind of time consuming because I'm not very skilled at it and I don't like to give up until I get a decent shot but when that finally does happen, I find it really rewarding! I know there are much better cat pictures on here but I'm happy with how this turned out and am excited to share it. :)

The kitty model is Zoe. She has a really quick temper with a long list of things that set her off, she'll audibly complain when you use too many words with hard "K" sounds like "pickles" or "keys", and she can't go a night without thoroughly licking the dust particles off the window blinds. ...Yeah.

Aw. I wish I had a cat, but my dad and brother are allergic. I have an awesome dog, though (he's cuter than he looks in my profile pic).

This is a lovely photo! The only thing I would suggest is maybe play around with the background -- although the colours are lovely and add to the photo in general, towards the back there's a lack of definition around where the cat and the background are.

That said, I know what you mean about how difficult it can be to capture an animal, and I absolutely applaud your achievement with this pic. There's a cat who visits me that is a nightmare to photograph because as soon as he sees the camera, he rolls away from it. ;)
